The Outdoor Challenge - Plantasia is the ideal place to help your beavers gain their outdoor challenge badge. You may simply just choose to come as a colony visit or you could try out one of our environmental activities. Activities available include finding out about the country code, planting trees or shrubs, helping to litter pick the park or a session on recycling.
The Discovery Challenge - Creativity. Take part in either a minibeast hunt or a pond dipping session. Draw your favourite minibeast and then have a go at designing your own minibeast or minibeast mobile from bits of household junk. This activity is also suitable for the Craft Activity Badge.
Experiment Activity Badge - Decorate a plant pot with a collage or turn a pot into a made up creature. Plant up with a mixture of fast growing plants. Create a plant diary so you can watch your plants bloom and record the growth. Make a paper mache volcano, add a mix of household chemicals and watch your volcano really erupt.
Explore Activity Badge - Explore our wild walks thinking about the creatures and plants that you would expect to see outside. Take a spotter jotter with you to make sure you record anything unexpected.
