Kune Kune Pigs

The modern Kune Kune pig comes from New Zealand where they were originally kept by Maoris. (Kune kune means chubby in the Maori language) They arrived in this country in 1992. Their colouring can vary dramatically they can be black, brown, tan or cream, they also come in a variety of spotty colours. Many of the pigs have a pair of tassles under their chin called Piri Piri.
They are very friendly pigs and have a placid friendly nature
